W.E.E. – Women Endowing Education

This giving circle was established early in BSEF’s history, bringing together many influential women in the area. Currently, W.E.E. boasts over 100 members, who, through annual individual contribution of $300, significantly impact education in our district. These women partnered with the BSSD to bring a mobile classroom, the W.E.E. Learning Bus, to life. For many years the bus traveled throughout the district, its 20-station computer lab equipped with WIFI and a certified teacher, to facilitate tutoring students, offering classes for senior adults, and assisting in resume building for job seekers. Now the women focus on providing funding for several scholarships for graduating seniors, literacy programs, BSSD Aquarium, as well as teacher grants that promote innovation and excellence in the classroom.
