Meet the Staff

Laura came to the Blue Springs Education Foundation in August 2025 with 14 years of experience in the non-profit sector. Before joining the Foundation, she spent 12 years with the Child Protection Center and previously worked with the Saint Luke's Foundation. Laura is dedicated to working hard to continue to advance the mission of the Blue Springs Education Foundation and make a lasting impact in the community.

Mark joined the BSEF staff in February 2023. An educator for 43 years, Mark retired after 21 years of service in the Blue Springs School District, including the last 8 years as the Director of District Activities. As a part-time staff member, he assists in all phases of the Foundation’s operation.

Barb is a part-time member of the BSEF staff, providing support to the Executive Director in an administrative assistant’s role. Barb also serves as the administrative assistant to the Public Relations Department.
