Student Scholarship

BSSD graduates received $228,250 in scholarships for higher education in 2024! Those 116 awards, including 30 Memorial scholarships, are funded through donations to the Foundation by individuals, families, and some corporate or business donors. Sixteen scholarships are renewable for recipients, moving the total of the awards toward $240,000. Included among the renewable scholarships were seven $20,000 awards (4-year total) given to the Grow Your Own Teachers recipients.
